The CCTV Camera Maintenance Committee is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, regular monitoring, maintenance, and effective use of CCTV surveillance systems across the college campus. The committee conducts periodic inspections of cameras, recording systems, monitors, storage devices, and related equipment to identify technical faults and arrange timely repairs or replacement. It ensures that CCTV cameras adequately cover important areas such as classrooms, laboratories, library, corridors, entrances, parking areas, examination halls, and other sensitive locations. The committee coordinates with the technical/service agency for installation, servicing, software updates, and troubleshooting. It also ensures proper maintenance and safe storage of CCTV recordings, while maintaining confidentiality and using footage only for authorized institutional purposes. The committee assists the Principal and college administration in maintaining campus security, preventing unauthorized activities, supporting discipline, and providing relevant CCTV footage when required for official investigations or administrative purposes. Regular maintenance records, inspection reports, complaints, repair details, and service reports are maintained by the committee for institutional and audit purposes.
