The UDISHA, Career Counselling and Development Centre (CCDC), and Placement Cell collectively work for the career development, employability, skill enhancement, higher education, and placement of students. The committees identify students’ career interests and provide guidance regarding higher studies, competitive examinations, government and private-sector employment, research opportunities, internships, apprenticeships, entrepreneurship, and professional courses. They organize career counselling sessions, aptitude tests, soft-skill and communication training, resume-writing workshops, group discussions, mock interviews, personality development programmes, career fairs, job fairs, and expert lectures. The committees establish contacts with industries, companies, research institutions, universities, training organizations, alumni, and employers to create opportunities for students. The Placement Cell coordinates campus recruitment drives, job interviews, internship opportunities, and industry interactions, while UDISHA focuses particularly on integrated employability and skill development. CCDC provides individualized and group career counselling and helps students make appropriate academic and career choices. The NEP 2020 Internship Committee in a science college facilitates meaningful internship, field training, and work-based learning opportunities for students in accordance with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The committee identifies and coordinates with industries, research laboratories, universities, government departments, NGOs, hospitals, agricultural institutions, environmental organizations, and other relevant organizations to provide students with suitable internship opportunities. It guides students in selecting internships related to their subjects and career goals and helps them develop practical knowledge, technical skills, communication skills, teamwork, problem-solving ability, and professional ethics. The committee coordinates internship registration, allotment, attendance, mentoring, and completion of internship activities.
